Claire is British, a native English speaker, happily married and a mother to one son, aged 24. Moving to Thailand three years ago, Claire took the 120hr TEFL training at WECI-Hua Hin and now teaches English at the institute. Claire is published author with a love of language and reading. Claire's enthusiasm and sense of humour punctuates her classes and she has a real desire to see people flourish. Claire has been a yoga teacher, trainer and health coach for over two decades, working with adults, including creating and delivering year-long teacher training programs, certified by Yoga Alliance Professionals UK. Claire has Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry and works online as a nutrition and health coach.

Michael graduated from Bristol University with a BS in Business Administration and is very experienced, teaching with WECI since 2018. Michael has previously taught Business writing, conversation, interview training, e-mail writing workshops and train the trainer programs. Michael is a fine member of our teaching team. He has helped thousands of Thai students develop their English language skills successfully. Michael enthusiastically motivates students to participate in class to build up their self-confidence. He has extensive Business English experience and therefore can effectively deliver English language training to all staff and managerial level professionals.

Garrett Tuck was born in the USA but grew up in London, England. He received his degrees from the University of London and has worked in the education field for the last 12 years in some of the best international schools in SE Asia. He was also the IB Diploma Program Coordinator at a large International school. Garrett has vast experience in classroom management, resources and activities along with numerous other teaching and practical skills, which he imparts onto the TEFL trainees at WECI. Darron has been teaching for over fifteen years, originally from the UK, but now living with his wife and children in Thailand. Darron has a CELTA from Cambridge University and a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Plymouth. Darron has a wealth of experience having taught English in South Korea, Oman, Qatar, Malaysia, and Thailand, and has taught General English, IELTS and English for Specific Purposes to both adults and children. Darron likes his lessons to be fun and informative, and to include practice activities that develop listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Wanna believes passionately in the value and delivery of excellent education. It is this philosophy that provides the core of both her TEFL courses and the subsequent implementation of these values in all WECI classes. After an early career in engineering, Wanna gained an M.Ed. in School Administration and a Diploma, Linguistic Major of study (English) at Washington Universities. As a Director of Hospitality schools and as an instructor in other educational facilities, Wanna has a huge breadth of knowledge and experience. Alongside ensuring WECI continues to deliver excellence, Wanna advises Education Departments and develops curriculums and courses to implement or improve the teaching of English in private and public education, business and hospitality.
